SPL Chambley-Madine
Created in July 2021, the Société Publique Locale Chambley-Madine, of which the région Grand Est is the main shareholder, is in charge of managing and operating the Chambley Planet’Air aeronautical base and Lac de Madine.
Nested in the heart of the Parc naturel régional de Lorraine, these 2 emblematic sites of the region offer a wide range of leisure activities, both aerial, terrestrial, nautical and natural.
Thus the Chambley Planet’Air aerodrome allows the practice of microlight, glider, helicopter, plane, parachuting, aerobatics and hot-air ballooning. Driving sports cars (Porsche, Ferrari, etc.) is also possible on the Chambley circuit.
The Madine leisure center offers electric boat, paddleboat, pedal boat, bicycle and rosalie rentals, as well as an aqua park, accrobranche, golf, mini-golf, horseback riding, inflatables, swimming, fishing and an ornithological observatory… There’s something for every taste and every age. And to make the most of it, food outlets, stores and accommodation solutions are available on each of the 2 sites.
Some forty people are employed year-round by the SPL for the shared management of these 2 sites. During the summer period, the SPL recruits around fifteen seasonal staff.
