- Do I have to pay to access the lake?
No. Access to the lake and parking are free. However, during some events, such as the “Rétro Meus’Auto” (old car gathering), the organizer privatizes the site and will ask you to pay a parking fee, if you want to access the site via Heudicourt.
- Is there wifi on the Lac de Madine site?
No! To make the most of your visit and for total disconnection, the site is not equipped with wifi. ☀️🦢
- Are barbecues allowed on site?
No. Barbecues are prohibited on the site by prefectoral decree. Only our residents (people staying in our gîtes, roulottes, camping and motorhome areas) benefit from an exemption.
- Can I bring my own equipment to the lake?
Yes ! You can of course bring your own equipment to the lake (paddle, canoe, windsurf etc…).
Note that wearing a life jacket is mandatory on the lake for all boats under penalty of fine.

- Where can I buy my fishing licence?
To fish on Lac de Madine, you need a fishing card. You can buy one either at the accueil de la Maison des promenades on the Nonsard site or from one of our depositors or online at the dedicated site: https://www.cartedepeche.fr/
- Can I ride the rosalie around the lake?
No. The tour of the lake is not achievable by rosalie. You can, however, do this one on foot or by bike.
By bike : allow around 2h for an average speed of between 15 and 20km/h.
On foot : allow around 5h30 to 6h depending on your walking speed.
- Are dogs allowed on site?
Yes. Dogs are allowed on the Lac de Madine site. They must be on a leash and are not allowed on the beaches. They are allowed in the water outside supervised bathing areas and may be accepted for certain activities. Please refer to the corresponding “activity” sheet.
- Can I take my horse for a walk and bathe him?
Yes ! You can bring your horse with you. The only place where he can go in the water is below the equestrian center, in the prohibited swimming area.
- Can I take my dog on a Madine watercraft (pedal boat, canoe)?
No. Pets are not allowed on watercraft.
- Can I take my child on a pedalo, electric boat, etc.?
Yes, but your child must be minimum 4 years old to go on one of our boats. Children are of course under the responsibility of an adult.
- Can children under 16 pilot an electric boat or pedalo?
No. Children under the age of 16 may not pilot an electric boat or pedal boat. They must be accompanied by an adult (+18)..
- Are there any activities for children?
