    The biodiversity of Lake Madine is behind the creation of the National Hunting Reserve and Wildlife. This covers 1800 hectares and encompasses the entire shore of Lake Madine. It is managed by the National Office for Hunting and Wild Fauna (ONCFS), which develops missions relating to environmental protection and knowledge of wildlife and its habitus. Ornithology side, Lake Madine has become since its creation a favorable site for wintering waterfowl (ducks) and migratory birds. You can watch them from the observatory of Pointe aux Chenes (Side-Madine Heudicourt). This observatory is accessible to people with disabilities (parking at the entrance of the path).
